The Canadian-Pacific Robotic Ocean Observing Facility (C-PROOF) operates a fleet of ocean gliders to observe water properties on the British Columbia Central Coast. These instruments provide upper ocean physical and biogeochemical properties across the shelf and into the Pacific. I use data from the gliders and other platforms in the region to look at physical and biogeochemical processes on the British Columbia coast.

Glider recovery
Recovering a glider from a small boat.
Glider deployment
Deploying a glider from the R/V Atlantic Explorer.
GBC
The C-PROOF gliders were a great platform to study the variability of dissolved oxygen on the BC shelf
